Emilie’s Rabbit

One hot summer day Emily saw me sitting on the shelf along with all the other bunnies in the store. She wanted me so bad I could see it in her blue eyes. But then she ran away for some reason. After a while I saw her walk back in! Then I realized she went to get some money. She picked me up and bought me! I was so happy. Then when she got home she put me on her wide window sill because her mother told her to do chores. When she came back she screamed and said,” No! My chocolate rabbit melted in the sun!”

I thought your story was well written. That was a very practical way for a chocolate rabbit to melt in the sun.

Hi Elizabeth. I enjoyed reading your 100WC entry. What a great idea to tell the story from the rabbit’s point of view. Perhaps you could have described him melting and his last memory of what Emily had said. A great entry, well done!
